Key Responsibilities
Lancaster Conferences & Events+ are looking to recruit a highly motivated professional to join their team in the role of Guest Services Manager.
This role is a great opportunity to join a vibrant team to lead with organisation and detailed planning, which is essential to enable a safe and a high standard of customer service. The Team operate a number of all year-round venues on Campus including the Lancaster Conference Centre, Forrest Hills and at the Castle in Lancaster. We also operate 80 Guest Rooms. During vacation times the Team hosts larger events for up to 800 people including day and residential conferences. Working with academics, professional services staff and external organisations we ensure that every aspect of the event is catered for from conception to delivery. This includes everything from planning the preparation of student accommodation, delegate registration, offering event budget advice to menu choices and much more. This position will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of Bookings Co-ordinators to enable us to deliver an amazing Guest Rooms, conference and events experience. The Guest Services Manager will also support with the smooth running of our conference and events and any other University events as business needs demand. Previous experience of guest room, conference and event planning is essential.
