Key Responsibilities
Reporting to, and working with, the Director for Major Highways, the Bridges Discipline Leader will have a proven record of working on a variety of bridge and civil engineering structures as designer, lead designer and technical lead. They will have an established reputation within this discipline, operating across sectors and they will be expected to be familiar with all aspects of bridge and civil engineering structural projects with an emphasis on the highways sector.
Essential Requirements
Able to demonstrate a recent broad experience, knowledge and understanding of current DMRB bridge design standards and Highways England approval and certification procedures, including the necessary products to be produced at the various stage gates in the Project Control Framework.
