Key Responsibilities

As our next Head of Procurement, you will oversee both direct and indirect expenditure across the Encirc business. develop the procurement strategy, plans and procedures to optimise procurement expenditure and deliver value for money whilst ensuring sustainability and ethical trading practices are achieved. You will be a role model leading in a way that creates an environment of high integrity, trust and commitment within the team. Your ability to manage stakeholders, lead teams, and prioritise work will be crucial to driving value and success in our ever-changing business environment.

Essential Requirements

Degree / Masters level, preferably in a related field, e.g. Business, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). Extensive knowledge of contract law, EU and UK procurement legislation and experience of developing and implementing best value strategies. Detailed knowledge of managing ongoing third party, outsourced supply / service contracts. First class negotiating skills with experience of working for a fast-paced and diverse matrix organisation with previous experience of procuring manufacturing raw materials, outsourced services and business / corporate services. Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders. Ability to provide expert advice to the team and colleagues across the organisation.
