Key Responsibilities

Supporting supplier approvals for raw materials and sub-contractors, adding the relevant Quality Plans in SAP S4/HANA and defining any procedures required, • Review and flowing down the requirements of technical drawings, Purchase Order and Customer Specifications. • Auditing suppliers, sub-contractors and internal processes, raising findings and working with the supplier / sub-contractor, to closing out actions in a timely manner, • Contribute to FAIR, FMEA, APQP and NPD/I activities with the aim of developing capable process specifications, • Updating QM data including Inspection Plans, Certificate Profiles, New Material Requests (NMR) and Information Records to ensure customer specific quality aspects are defined in SAP and related systems, • Plan Bill of materials and part numbers to ensure manufacturing continuity and product conformance, • Work with other departments on quality aspects of operational and continuous improvements • Any other duties within the post holder’s competence as requested. You will be experienced in Quality Assurance tools, using them to communicate, at all levels, relevant Product Quality data. Other tasks will be allocated, as required, from across the Quality and Compliance Team that will be part of the continuing development and improvement of the QMS across all arenas. For instance, regular CAPA progress reviews and maintaining the QMS document library. Day to day activities as part of the EFP will include managing company tracking databases, generating periodic reports, updating of KPIs and scorecards, coordinating and entering data into Microsoft packages.

Essential Requirements

Must have experience of working within a formal QMS in a safety critical industry e.g - ISO 9001/AS/EN 9100/IATF16949 QMS • Internal auditor training Experience • Experience of using MS Office 365; Excel – Intermediate level or Power Bi, e.g. graphs, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint – Basic • Experience of working in an industrial or manufacturing environment • Use of QA tools to assess and improve product quality • Experience using SAP or similar ERP Excellent interpersonal skills. • Communication with a wide range of people internally and externally – verbally and written • Must have ability to work well under pressure. • Organizational skills • Problem Solving skills • Data Analysis • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in written communications • Team player, who demonstrates a high level of commitment, adopts a flexible and positive approach.
