Key Responsibilities
• Driving growth and profitability by actively managing, developing, and growing relationships with key customer accounts • Supporting the Head of Sales in meeting annual targets and objectives • Working closely with internal teams, such as planning and production, and communicating customer needs and demands internally as well as managing customer expectations • Taking accountability for pricing implementation, handling customer complaints and assisting with accounts receivables • Identifying growth opportunities with existing customers and new markets • Managing and providing data for monthly sales forecasts, business reviews and strategic planning • Attending and representing the company at industry conferences and exhibitions • Travelling internationally to customers, and events
Essential Requirements
• Either have proven experience within an account management / sales role as part of a technical manufacturing business, or have a degree in Business, Marketing, Science / Chemistry, or similar subject and be keen to develop a career in account management / sales • IT literacy with experience of using Microsoft Office; particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and knowledge of CRM software systems • Achievement driven with the ability to show customer and strategic focus • Self-motivated with ability to use own initiative, prioritise tasks and work well under pressure • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills • Team player who demonstrates a high level of commitment, adopting a flexible and positive approach • Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines in a fast paced, pressurised, and challenging environment • Full UK driving licence
