Responsibilities: • Client Management: o Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service and timely communication. o Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and providing tailored financial advice. • Financial Reporting and Compliance: o Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS. o Ensure all statutory requirements are met, including filing deadlines for Companies House and HMRC. • Taxation: o Prepare and review corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and personal tax returns. o Provide tax planning advice to clients, optimizing their tax position and ensuring compliance. • Advisory Services: o Offer strategic business advice to clients, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. o Assist clients with business development strategies and financial decision-making. • Team Collaboration: o Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices. o Mentor and support junior staff, fostering their development and growth within the firm. Essential Requirements
Qualifications: • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice. • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations. • Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks etc and MS Office Suite. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
