Key Responsibilities

We have an opportunity in the Department of Estates and Facilities Management within our Performance Venues Team for someone with a passion for live events delivery looking to use their skills in technical support, customer service and safety management to make an impact on the cultural offer for our University, the city and the wider region.

Reporting to the Performance Venues Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of technical services for a wide variety of events across our three principle venues. You will use the experience you have already developed from working in a similar environment to provide essential support to the Performance Venues team, helping to ensure the reputation of the University by presenting our events to a first-class technical standard.

As this role requires a broad knowledge of our state-of-the-art lighting, sound and AV systems, it provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in technical delivery across numerous events and performance genres.

We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
